chain-trenching - troon

Chain trenching utilises a continuous looped chain, similar to a large chainsaw to cut a channel (trench) to a predetermined depth and width into the ground.
The soil removed is deposited adjacent to the trench ready for replacement after pipes or cables have been installed.
